New stained glass front door, Balham, SW12

A set of 3 coloured leaded glass panels for the door and fanlight – we spent a lot of time working with our client as well as visiting the joinery contractor who was making the door, to ensure everything would work together.  We were all very pleased with the final result.  Our client noted: ‘The door looks amazing, I am really happy with it. It has totally transformed the house for me and I have received 4 compliments already and sure there will be plenty more.  Thank you again and Im glad I came to you to get it done :-)’

The door panels are set behind laminated glass.

Stained glass house number fanlight, Clapham

This replaced plain glass over the door, and was to a pattern to generally reflect the original glass in the street, slight simplified.  The number itself is not painted - its made from a piece of white flashed glass - clear glass with a very thin layer of white opal glass fused onto the back - which is then sandblasted away to form the actual numerals, and then filled with a permanent black resin.  The pastel colours are all in English Muffle glass.
