Stained glass door set in Battersea, SW11

Stained glass door panels, Battersea
We made and installed the 3 panels in the door to blend with the existing top panel with the house number – which while not original had been made in the original style.  The door panels were fitted behind laminated safety glass for protection and durability.   We used our regular set of 4 typical Victorian pastel colours, in English Muffle glass, and some old, salvaged large Muranese pattern for the uncoloured squares.  A flashed red glass was used for added brilliance.  Our client was kind enough to comment: ‘The stained glass looks absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much. You do fantastic work.’

Stained glass feature panel, Hayes, Bromley

Fitted in a space over a kitchen door into a lobby, this simple but effective panel Art Deco style panel was installed with laminated white diffuser glass at the back to diffuse the light from the ceiling lamp and also to blur the view of the lobby ceiling.

Restored leaded glass door panel, Brockley, SE4

Restored stained glass, Brockley
The left side panel of this pair was in poor condition and damaged.  It was removed and rebuilt with new lead, replacing the broken and missing pieces, some of which we were able to match from our stock of salvaged glass.  It was refitted with 2 steel support bars.
Our client commented: ‘The window is lovely. I am very pleased.’

New leaded panels, Dulwich – Phase 2

Having fitted 2 new leaded panels either side of the main door, our client commissioned 2 further panels – for the door centre and for one of the main rooms, both fitted behind protective panels of  laminated glass. ‘Looks great, many thanks’, noted our client.
