Painted glass, Lewisham SE13

This traditionally pained and stained glass panel had suffered considerable damage – including breakage and loss of 7 of the painted pieces.  We disassembled the panel, taking what was left of the painted fragments enabling them to be copied in the context of their neighbouring pieces.
The panel was then rebuilt with new lead and replacing the other cracked pieces from the border.  It was reinstalled in the door with new supporting rods.
